For Assemblage #7, we will gather for an informal sharing of ideas, summarizing what we have done so far, what we are planning, and making space for proposals and suggestions for future projects.

We will share some ideas around (A) Dark Room Space, an immersive exhibition-event recently organized by Thomas Butler and Zander Porter at Agora Collective. We’ll also discuss the project-in-progress Quantum leaps in trans-semiotics through psycho-analytical snail serum that will be presented at KW Institute for Contemporary Art’s Bob’s Pogo Bar, where the film Prototypes will be shown by Lou Drago and Pedro Marum in conversation with its director, Doireann O’Malley.

In addition, we hope to explore a range of topics between failure, animation, and queerness in an informal, highly participation-encouraged community meeting. We’d like to expand on the conversation sparked over our last program, queer_tech_camp: Strategies in Techno-performance.

We welcome everyone to bring along texts or links to articles, etc. (on any topic), that would be enjoyable to share and discuss. Also very welcome are friends, thinkers, and lovers who you think might share our interest in dreaming of alternate futures and discussing gender and feminist politics with technology culture intersections.
